With over seven years of experience in the field of nutrition, specializing in bariatric surgery since 2004, I have been fortunate to work in this specialty.  I received my undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech, and a master’s degree in Health Sciences from James Madison University.  I completed a clinical internship at Fairfax Hospital, VA and a research internship at USDA in collaboration with John’s Hopkins.  It is truly rewarding helping patients improve their quality of life.  As a Clinical Nutritionist, Licensed Dietitian, I have coached many clients pre- and post-bariatric surgery.  The one thing I noticed that would be useful is a journal/workbook to help stay on track!
